I Wish Things Were DiffrentI would lay in my bed expecting it to happen. I tucked myself deeply under the covers hoping that it would block him from getting to me. I know there was no hope though. On the next bed over my brother slept peacefully. I was closest to the door. I could hear his wobbly footsteps pound down the hall. I begged god to spare me and have him walk past the door that entered into the dully painted room. Once he was outside my door the footsteps would stop. Here it came again. He entered the room. I pursed my lips hoping to keep my small cries to myself. He stumbled over to my bed. He laid on top of me.I Wish Things Were Diffrent
